SGML1 Series Residual Current Circuit Breaker have overcurrent protection and earth fault protection.
Overcurrent Protection
Overcurrent protection to circuit conductors is provided by thermal and magnetic tripping elements is the line side,equivalent to the mcb. Operating characteristics on over current are as for the standard MCB.
according to BSEN60947-2 for miniature circuit breakers.
Short circuit requirements comply with BS4293.
Earth Fault Protection
The RCD element of the device provides core-balance detection of the difference between line and neutral currents and amplification to provide high senetivity.
